Just a quick question, so in know that you need 28(?) chops to get your sandalwood chop but does that mean that you need to buddy up everyone in the place????

Just a quick question, so in know that you need 28(?) chops to get your sandalwood chop but does that mean that you need to buddy up everyone in the place????

It's a requirement to have all of the chops for a side-quest later in the game. If you don't care about such a thing, then just get what you need and carry on.
And yes, it's rather annoying to buddy everyone up with eachother.
