teh 00mpa l00mpa 0wns yu0!!1

Augh! I got a virus from a myspace bulletin =[ I clicked on the link that was in the bulletin, thinking that since it was from a friend that it wasn't anything bad, and now, I've got the Leap.A Virus, otherwise known as the 00mpa l00mpa virus. What happens is, an error message pops up from time to time, saying "teh 00mpa l00mpa 0wns yu0!!1", the Oompa Loompa song is repeatedly playing over and over on my speakers, and this weird message is stuck in my clipboard.

So...have you ever had a virus before? If so, what were the features of that virus? :(

thanks for the heads up on the virus we'll keep our eyes open for it. I think you can rid yourself easily of this virus try running a scan then if it fails try using an updated trial of something like panda that will remove the virus completely (or should do)

I had Toolbar888, which would open new windows and tabs at random intervals - these new windows would then direct me to WinAntivirusPro and the like. It would even try to force downloads and other malicious things.

Had to use HijackThis!, Vundo, and mess with internal windows files to be rid of the bugger...

I don't get viruses. Ever. :D

I just put the family's old Windows 98's harddrive into my computer a few hours ago. After switching back XP, AVG caught 5 or 6 trojan horsies within a few minutes of sitting around and a scan revealed another worm. Ad-Aware SE found 225 major problems as well. Wheeee, Windows 98.

Designated 'family' computers are always totally screwed up.

I don't get viruses 'cause usually it's REALLY obvious if my friends posted something or if it's a link with a virus. o_o And nobody uses my computer except me.

wow, that sounds....annoying lol well, i dont get any viruses, excpets when some annoying guy named Shawn can open and close the cd thing on my computer......if that counts

I currently have a virus at my laptop, it's called Torjan or something else. It makes drivers open with autorun so they never open and I'm too lazy to run the scan on it. xD

Meh, the worst thing to happen on any computer that I've been on is a couple of wormz(I think). Of course, this computer (which is mien) may have some...
