Violent Video games
So yeah, I'm giving a presentation on violence in video games in a few weeks, and I bet some people here have seen some pretty gruesome screen shots . Basically what I'm asking is for people to post some of the most violent screen shots from a game they have/can find. Something like say, a guy getting chainsawed in Gears of War.
Thanks friends!

I'm curious about the purpose of this presentation.
I cannot provide anything right now since most game sites are blocked at my job, but I can suggest the game Manhunt in people's searches. Perhaps 'The Punisher' as well.

I hear that Disney has this very violent video game. Ohh, wait, people getting bashed with large metal objects resembling sharp keys isn't violent. My mistake. Sorry to waste your time.
I think Google would have more than you would like, assuming that those images are free for use.

supposedly FFVII is a bad game for encouraging bombing of political buildings :D

I wanna know what the purpose of this presentation is. Are you bashing violent video games? saying that they are the cause of all problems?
-
No, it's a presentation on an issue in our country. The purpose is to present both sides of the argument.
Personally I have no problem with violent video games. And I already have a great picture from Resident Evil 4 with some guys head being blown off
PS: It's for a Public Speaking class

Get some screenshots of Mortal Kombat II fatalities. Those are great. 8-)

no offense to anyone... but I know plenty of games with violent content, just when I search for pictures of it, I can't find the violent things. That's why I asked for people to post actual screenshots or something that they had!
Thanks though

Depending on your audience, you may want to censor your images. Some people might not take too well to seeing someone's head being blown apart. I don't mean like 'OMG you weirdo why did you show that!?', more like emptying the contents of their stomach. Some folks are sensitive like that. Seeing Aeris get stabbed through the chest might be tolerable for some people, while watching Hayabusa lop a bad guy's head off might be too much.
You might want to have more pictures that are still violent, but not gorey. Or maybe make 2 different slideshows: one with all the blood, guts and decapitations and one without the extremes.

Run Google Image searches for Carmageddon and Postal 2. Both are notoriously controversial games, so they're good names to mention. And they're pretty violent, though obviously the gore isn't as graphically realistic as, say, Gears of War.
