I got this game and am now at the potty village.
Will Potty ever join my party?
Will any other humans join?
Any way where I can give ash power saver it costs a lot of mana way too much for me?

Marona:
Giving a new or custom title often helps. You need to dungeon out a title before it'll do anyone any good.
You can get a Putty on your team later by defeating several putties in battle. You can create one as a Phantom.
You will not get any other non-Phantom party members aside from Marona. Better get her a nice sword so that she can be combat effective.
If you want the mana, you need to kill a lot of things and earn it.
Titles also help.
You should stick with the Failure Title or the Dark Weapon cheat. (Well I Do Not Consider Them To Be Cheats At All)

Cool cool but I still need to level up more. I dont want to jump up in levels like crazy jsut speed up a little bit.
