In search for male voice actors for my game
Welcome everyone I'm Stevie v.d Laar creator of the Final Tear series. I'm searching for male voice actors for my game who can join our already lovely cast of voice actors.
I'm now almost 3 years working on the game and the results are finally coming alive, Final Tear 3 will be unique because of it's voice acting and special events that are never done in an rpgmaker game before.
Because I still need some talented voice actors, I tried to look here at this forum for some.
What's important?
- Well first of all that you can speak proper English
- You need to have talent with voice acting, this doesn't mean you need to be a professional in voice acting but please only register if you have some experience.
- + 2 hours of your free time to speak them in.
What are my benefits?
- If you register and if you're going to do voices in the game then a lot of people will hear your voices, you might get famous if the game get's famous (I already have contact with game magazines that might want to review my game)
- You can good competences when finding a job in this district.
- And finally it's really fun to do :)
What do you need?
- a good mic

- A professional recordings program (Which I can offer you)
- A silent room.
How do I join/register?
If you want to join you need to send me an e-mail, you need to fill in your name your age and also from which country you're coming.
You will get then an e-mail back a.s.a.p with some test lines, you need to send those voices back within 3 days, if it's not there within 3 days you're out of the race.
If I collected all the voices I will select the best 3 out of it, and these 3 people get an temporary role. And after that 2 winners will be selected. Those other persons might have chance to speak some other characters in. Or perhaps the trailer video which will be coming soon.

Below here is some information about Final Tear 3, this information is outdated but it will give an good example how the game is going to look and to be.

Dear people as some of you might know Final Tear is the third chapter of the final tear series that I’m making at the moment. A lot of people played part 1 and 2 and most of them we’re very pleased of the game. The game is now almost 3 years in development and I expect that it will be between August and September 2007.
As you can see here the dates when the games came out, if you subtract the release date you can see when I started it ;)

The reason why it takes 4 times longer than part 1 and 2 is because Final Tear 3 is full of special things and events that make the game very special. So will the game have it’s own soundtrack (with a real female singer and an own made song in a studio) and it will contain real voice acting!
Story of the game]
The legend:
You will never disrupt the balance between life and death, for it is the universe’s most critical evolutional key.
The light will either shine or turn to darkness when the gold crusader raises his might trough the violent sky. When his tears fall down on the alluvial plain, the darkness above will explode and rage in ultimate anger, revealing him the hand of hope where the seeds of his past will rain down on his misguiding eyes.
When the panets Exendia, Lentha and Mezetto will be in a straight line the terror will reveal his never ending form, only if a child eyes’ blessed with of the hand of hope are open, then the light will shine over the darkness.
Story:
The story goes about a boy named Lance that lives in Palmer village on the Planet Lentha’ he lives there a peacefull life and he often entertains the village children. Lance cannot remember anything what happened before those 10 years. He doesn’t know who his parents are he doesn’t know his real name etc.
On one day something falls from the sky that might be related to Lance because it’s something that cannot be made on Lentha. And the story starts here.
In the beginning Lance wants to find out who he is and he does this with his pal Jessie which is a student-priest at Palmer church soon Lance realised that there are a lot of strange things happening.
In the beginning of the game he will meet a leprechaun that needs to get a grave of his wife moved’ well on the grave stands that his wife died more than a 2000 years ago. While the bible in the game indicates that the first people came 999 ago and before that there was nothing.
In the end of the game you will see the horrible truth that the people need to deal with’ the story is therefore truly amazing with an incredible depth and with astounding characters that you will never forget anymore!
Features of the game
- A own soundtrack with my own singer that will be the main theme of the game.
- Great voices done in battles by my voices actors. (I know people say that it doesn't belong in 2d games, but tales of destiny and grandia and star ocean were 2d to and they had also voices in battle)
- Better grapichs than part 1 and 2
- More lively villages
- Final Tear 3 will be the biggest and possible the most complex rpgmaker ever made with more than 200 hours playtime and more than 1000 maps
- 30 custom events
- 3 different planets that you can travel between’ with all their own world map. With all different envoirments (one planet is futuristic while and other is prehistoric (underdeveloped planet)
- 5 huge worldmaps! more than 235 places that you can visit
- More than 8 different vehicles that you can use to travel like cars, planes, ships, boats, ice hover crafts, space ships, motorcycles, trains etc
- Standaard max damage in rpgmaker is 9999 it is 99999 in my game, bosses max hp is 99999 in rpgmaker. In game came some reach the 40 million yeah that’s sick :p
- Mine games like tag, hide and seek, roulette, stone pick game,
- You can join a tv-show on tv
- A lot of puzzles (some are very difficult)
- Self generating mazes
- Semi-custom battle system
- More than 400 skills and spells
- Possible to bank over the internet, to get interest on your money and you might even buy shares.
- S.A.S.S Summon Aura Sensation System: A system that which let you fuse with the summon and then let the summon attack the whole field and you’re hurt enough (can be best compared with the craymel system in tales of destiny 2)
- A lot of humor will be again in the game, with Melvin and Wayne of course :P
- There is a self generating maze, every time you step in it the route is different.
- Custom exp system
- A combo system like Legend of Legaia 1&2
- A sp special skill system liek grandia 3
- Tarrot card system
- A emotion summon that you need to pay and that depends on how much he likes you (like Yojimbo from ffx)

The main character of the game, lost from his past and memories Lance tries to find his real self. Although is name is Lance he doesn’t know his real name (His name was giving by the one’s who found him) Lance is an optimistic lively fellow, and something he says or does things before he thinks. This sometimes leads the party into trouble.
As lance doesn’t know anything about himself he would take any clue to find out who he really is.

The blue haired priest from Palmer, Jessie is a very serious and religious person. His best friend is Lance who became his friend when Lance was found in Palmer village. Jessie is a strong believer in society and in god. He believes everything blindly what those 2 tell him. This sometimes greatly annoys some other members from the group. As the game progresses Jessie believes in the evil and wicked ambitions of world society which causes conflicts in the group

The black haired hotty bodyguard from te king is an lovely chat subject in Sanaria kingdom, her sexy appearance and her coldness attracts a lot of guys all around the world.
Alyssa is a very extreme intelligent realistic thinking character. She can abstract difficult problems in a short time, and is a very thinking spirit. She doesn’t believe in anything and only believe in facts. She hates people who disrespect or are walking with society Alyssa is somewhat the opposite of Jessie, her first appearances might look cold mean and respect less but when the game progresses you will see her true character

The innocent light blue haired girl looks very cute and gloomy. Her optimistic and cheering character brings a lot of happiness to the group. But that isn’t really the way how she really feels. Her outside might seems bright and optimistic but on the inside she’s a very unhappy person. Somehow she believes everything thing that Lance says. And has a good relation with almost everyone in the group.
Selene is your main healer in the game’ but her physical power is very weak She has also a very strange attraction to Lance.
Judas

The oldest member in the group. Judas is a man from the streets. Does know almost everything about guns and explosions. And knows everything about the rules and laws on the streets.
Judas makes a living by earning money with in the Disco that he owns in Densel street in Exendia. Judas has a very advising task in the group’ he’s mostly the big silence type. But when things get intense he shows his true form. Judas is character with the highest attack in the game’ his fierce some gun attacks are to much for most enemies. His bullets will define his impure melody :naughty:
Vincent

Vincent is the last character you will get in the team, which comes in your team very late in the game. Vincent is a non-caring very arrogant character. He hates weakness and people who are afraid. Vincent tries to enforce himself as the group leader of the gang.
As much as the group knows of Vincent, Vincent is a very mysterious and vague character, he doesn’t talk how he or feels thinks. Allysa and Selene don’t like Vincent in the team, but Vincent doesn’t seem to care. He doesn’t care for anything for that matter. This might look he’s a cold feeling less presence in the group. However later in the game the group finds out why this is.

The ice summon Lonka is known of her coldness. She can easily make the temperature below 10.000 degrees if she wants. It’s no wonder that not much enemies can resist such cold.
Ramuh
The thunder god, as this god might look old (in fact he is) he still has very shocking attacks. Ramuh was originally a priest they say that god itself struck lightning upon him which made him as he is now. No one knows why God did this..some say that Ramuh thought he was indestructible.
Leviathan:
Is the water god Leviathan is a long snake/dragon like creature and also the lord of the ocean. Some say that Leviathan first appeared when the humans appeared on the earth. Other firmly believe that Leviathan was hiding in the sea long before that.
Melvin & Wayne:
No one really know’s when this summon was created’ the only thing to consider with this duo is that they are not very smart. Melvin is known as to be a very alert pokemon trainer, it’s unknown what Wayne does for a living.
Muntu:

Muntu is the god of the earth they say that Muntu is the pet of the supreme earth god Titan, this has sadly not yet been confirmed. Muntu is very big and massive. The biggest Muntu’s are more than 15.000 kilo. And can be more than 6 metres high and 9 metres long. Muntu has also very big horns who protect himself from attacks.

Felice is the younger sister of Espereon, they are both angels and heal their masters. Felice likes man who fight a lot. And she would only accept a master who has a lot of battle experience.
Hurane:

When there’s a storm you see hurane, hurane is a god which is born out of the god Typhoon and the god Pandemona. Although Hurane look more than Pandamona than Typhoon it’s said that it’s really true hurane is the son of Typhoon. Hurane’s attacks are fierce Everything in his path is inhaled’ including all enemies. After exhaling, all enemies are blown back onto the battlefield, sustaining massive wind damage.

The blazing birth of fire, which implies supreme fire strength. They say that phoenix his tears are healing or even reviving, but after a few decennia phoenix decided to concentrate only on offence. This made his fire strength much better but this has cost his healing ability…
Taimala:

Its rumoured that Taimala is the third son of the great God Emoirle which is the great god of the 3 planets Letha Exendia and Mezetto. In the far past Taimala created the holy god Alexander in his image, after a few decennia Taimala found out that Alexander lacked in holy power. So Taimala decided that he will once again replace Alexander as holy summon

The most versatile summon available, Tretiogh has 3 elements on board thunder ice and fire. Because fire and ice are opposing Treiogh is ill very often. Tretiogh is the youngest summon of all, he first appeared around the year 500. Nobody knows where he came from, some say that he came from a place very far away even further then the 3 planets.
Odin:

The dark god odin, a god who was banished form hell itself by the summon Hades. Odin is a fierce some fighter. With is black horse stallion he cuts every enemy in 2 pieces. They say that odin is at his best when there’s a full moon. Some believe that odin was originally also a son of Emoirle. Sometimes when the enemy is to fierce odin takes his grunge lance and throws it into the heavens which does terrible damage on the fiend(s) below.

This is a very solid and firm fellow, they said that golem was a statue in the past a statue to honour the great Emoirle. Some believe that Emoirle revived golem so that he can protect his masters. Golem is now the support summon and castes haste, protect and force on all his masters at once.
Rita:

Rite is known as the nurse summon. Rita’s unique ability is to remove all the sicknesses. Although Rita is pretty useless most of the time, she can be very handy when you have troubles with Marlboro. Which is in fact the supreme opposite of Rita
Espereon:
The ultimate healing summon, like her younger sister Felice she heals all her masters. But Espereon heals a lot more than her younger sister. When the masters get really strong they prefer Espereon over Felice. However they say that Felice has sometimes sex with their own masters in order to stay with them.

The dragon god Bahamut said to the the king of the summons, the soaring dragon among the stars. It’s said that Bahamut is so powerful that only the supreme god Ermoirle can fully control him. After Bahamuts father died ‘Kaiser Bahamut’; bahamut decided to inherited his father’s power in order to become even stronger. His well known 'mega flare’; changed into ‘god’s flare’;

The master of the underworld, and also said that he’s the best friend of Lucifer (the father of Satan) It’s said that Hades had a affair with Marlboro. Hades has a very dark powerfull attack and on the top of that he will cast all the possible deceases there are on the enemies. They said it’s even deadlier than death itself.

It’s unknown where this god from. Its rumoured that Loki was born by the supreme madness and wickedness of his master Lucas. Because Loki is so evil he’s even not welcome at hell. And everyone fears the unbelievable power of this god. Some say that this god power succeed even Emoirles. Of course the church says that this is rubbish.
Solaris:

The ultimate summon of Final Tear 3, which has an great appetite for money. They said that Solaris was the one and only son of the sun of the 3 planets Lentha’ Exendia and Mezetto. They also say that Solaris is banished by the sun because of his greediness. Now Solaris waits only for the richest masters in the world. The more they pay the better Solaris will kill.
