I just got to Black Mage Village. There's a Synth Shop, and I have absolutely NOTHING with which I can synth. Is there a weapons shop or some other place I can get materials for synthing, or some other solution to this problem?

I just got to Black Mage Village. There's a Synth Shop, and I have absolutely NOTHING with which I can synth. Is there a weapons shop or some other place I can get materials for synthing, or some other solution to this problem?

You do realize that Black Mage Village has a Weapon Shop, too, right? It's just to the right of the entrance. You should at least be able to synth a Rune Tooth with that place's Mythril Daggers, but for the rest, it's mostly up to your used junk and random pickups.
