i was watching tv before and i saw gladiartors on, i remember it from wen i was little,

fresh prince of bel air
blind date
family fortunes
supermarket sweep (loved dat!)
cant remember what it was called but it was on every sunday and people had to do loads of chaneges an if they failed they went in with a lion.
