The original had those awful games that made you skin your hands on the controller.
But it was fun though!:) So...I take it that you like the GameCube Mario Party games better?
Or Mario Party 2 or 3 on the N64. Any Mario Party game after the 1st one. :P

Mario Party 3. it's been a long time and i can only remember one song from it.
Mario Party 2 is definitely the best one, merely for Horror Land.
Right now Mario Party 7 is my favourite cause you can use the mic at some points, and you can play as Boo. :P
This will probably change in a matter of a week or 2 when Mario Party 8 for the Wii comes out. :D
Yeah, I have a friend who's getting the new Mario Party game so I'm going to kick his ass at it.
I used to like the game, but decided against getting any other versions of the game after the 5th one.

never played further than mario party 2
First one will always be the best...but im a fan of the third and NOT a big fan of the new GC versions (Though 8 definatly should be interesting)

It looks like the award for the best Mario Party game is tie between the original Mario Party, Mario Party 2, and Mario Party 5. But it looks like the award for the worst Mario Party game goes to Mario Party 8.
i just got mario party 8 in the mail today and i love it. the controls are so much fun. ign has no clue what theyre talking about. its great fun. though i havent played a mario party since number 3 heh..
