Hm, where do I begin? :)
There was this Mana-series-but-not-really thing for the Super Nintendo I played once...I thought it was just awful. Secret of Evermore or something? God, I just can't remember. But I believe it was made by Square USA, so there ya go. I hated that thing.
I'm also going to give a nod to Vagrant Story because I'm a masochist and I want other members to beat me up with their harsh text. VS is a very love or hate kind of game, and I sure didn't love it, kiddies.
The Valkyrie Profile series is developed by tri-Ace, not Square-Enix, but yeah. >_>
It is hard to say what SE game I like the least, since I'm generally not very picky. I guess I'll just throw in Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.
You should try Secret of Mana (unless you already have and didn't enjoy it), Lunar. And Seiken Densetsu 3. They're both much better than Secret of Evermore.

I'm with LunarWeaver...I didn't really umm care for Vagrent Story either.
If there is a SE game worse then Children of Mana, I don't want to play it.

One is a generic side scrolling shooter that's just bad...
The other is a poor 3D fighter (wait I forgot... Most 3D fighting games suck:p )
