So about a week ago, I was engaging in a pleasant PM conversation with Vikeve. We were discussing Kingdom Hearts, and then I asked the question:

"Why does everyone love the Organization XIII?"

It's a question that has perplexed me for quite a while. Why does everyone love this sinister group of Nobodies? Is it their cool powers? Their weapons? Their names? The outfits!?!?!?

The topic is, what is so appealing about the Organization XIII?

And how come no one pays attention to Luxord!?!? He was my favorite and deserved much more screen time!

I think it's about the cloaks... And yeah, Luxord neede A LOT more screen time. They didn't even SAY his name in the game!

I love that group of villains because, all they wanted is a heart, all they wanted it to be a somebody, all they wanted is to have feelings.
But, Sora and all the others were mean to them and called them Nobodies.
They're the true villains of the game, not Organization XIII! :cry:

Now regarding the question, I believe I like them for their names, the cloaks and their weapons. Aside from that, they wanted to become whole again, and each of them aimed towards this goal at different ways. Of course, some of these ways are questionable.
