Has anyone noticed that you can't pause during battles?
It can get really annoying if your halfway through a battle & someone calls you on the phone or if you have to answer the door.

But nothing happens if you don't do anything. Just mute the TV.
Yea, the battle in FFX is turn based, meaning that the enemies wont attack until it's "their turn" you can see on the side of the screen theres a colum with your characters faces and the words monA and mon B, this is the turn that the characters and monsters attack in.
True I am too used to playing FF 12 LOL Plus the mute button on my TV remote is broken
you can always turn the TV off

I think FFX's pause button is broken. Definitely if you leave the game on during a battle the timer will increase, but I'll almost swear that if you pause it on the map it'll still increment :(
