What a freakishly bizarre combination. I'm not sure if it's even possible to create anything like a "truly amazing story-driven experience within the Sonic universe." But I guess if anyone can do it, it's Bioware.
It'll work if it's gonna be anything like Super Mario RPG. Which was smurfing awesome.
Bioware makes excellent games. I will trust them.
