Spin off threads aren't funny, why do people keep making them? :/

Spin off threads are for fun most of the time, or just to piss people off.

I was making spin off threads before they were cool.

They terrify me. Why won’t the pain stop?

Every newbie thinks they'll get an award for it, why not let them dream?

First time I've had one of my threads launch a series of spin offs.

I'm just going to start closing these threads at random. Stop making them.

Mine tend to spring from when I see a thread with a neat title and I am disappointed in the content.

It's hard to gauge when this happens as other staff tend to like to change my thread titles :p

that being said, perhaps this one was a mistake; I had forgotten how much people like to take a funny thing and snowball it. But I just like showing off my car!
