Is Wakka a "good blitzer"?

Wakka is the leader of the Besaid Aurochs - the, like, worst Blitzball team in history - and the team never won a game.
Still, Wakka has been a blitzer for almost two decades, and he definitely has a high status in the team.

So, would you say he's actually a good blitzer?
Does he just happen to be "the best of the worst", or would he compare to other decent blitzers?

For the majority of the levels, his stats are slightly lower than Tidus'. Eventually his SH will be two points higher. Aside from that, he's pretty average, although Aurochs Spirit really shines at the lower levels if you have other Aurochs on the team.
