Summer Jobs!
I have to work at this camp that my mom made me go to, I am not good with children at all and ill be running around screaming "oh my god" at a christian camp... it's going to be terrible *sigh*
What are some normal/weird summer jobs you people worked?
-
I work for my dad... it sounds enjoyable but its not :(
My dad really needs to calm down at work.
-
Working with Excel and templates at one of my friends' father's place. 12.50 an hour.
-
My brother works at Jiffy Lube xD. I'm too young to have a job.
-
I plan to be a Teacher's Aide next summer for this math academy thing. 10 bucks an hour, five hours a day, five days a week, six weeks--all for grading papers and chatting. :D
Edit: Oh, nothing this summer--summer school eats my time.
-
I wash dishes at an Irish pub.
The two summers before I worked at the local community centre back home basically mowing the lawn, painting, general maintenances like that plus help watch the kids who came to the day care programme. Me+hot summer day+just finishing mowing lawn+bratty kids who know they are misbehaving and know what buttons to press = not good.

I was thinking of getting a job this summer, since I just turned sixteen, and my friend and I both printed out job applications for a smoothie place, but I haven't even pulled out a pen to fill it out yet x.x
It's just too intimidating...plus the idea of interviewing for a job makes me sooo nervous...
-
I'll work as a gardener for three weeks and get about 3000 bucks for it.
It's not the job i learned. just helping out in my fathers company.
-
-
Keep my house clean, weed the gardens, fold the cloths, wash the dishes, bathe the dog, feed the dog, and that's all I can think of right now.
-
Im too young for a job, but some places do take on 15 year olds if you're lucky.
-
I have to help old people in a home for community service. It's actually a nice place.
Community service is required at my school.
-
I work at Cold Stones, free ice cream for me!
-
last year I was a busboy at a fancy restaurant.
this year I work in a Dunkin' Donuts bakery. it's way better.

The only thing going here is stacking freakin shelves at minimum wage. I HATE stacking shelves. So im not getting a job unless I find something else.
