I love this song. The entire scene was amazing and part of one of my favorite episodes in the series.

I have this song on my iPod, too. I even just finished reading this scene in the novel =X It's quite good. The animation for the scene is great.

It really puts you into it.

I was keeping up with this while they were still 'fresh' on fansub. At the end of the performance, Haruhi mentions that people could 'stop buy afterwards to get a recording of ENOZ's songs'. A few days later, a CD was actually on sale in Japan. Consequently, that's the same day the fansub was out, and a quick google after I watched the anime supplied me with a fresh MP3.
