well last time I played FFIV Advanced, despite popular opinion (at least in that version) Edgar was probably one of my best party members for his duration of the story. The ability to confuse enemies at will really played out in my favor and the antlion's den was a breeze. He gets my vote.
The Dancer in Final Fantasy Tactics, again last time i played that, was one of the best members on my team, and an ace in the hole for any battle. I just used the final song all the time, and she'd wreak havoc on the entire board, completely messing up the opposition. I had dance as a secondary ability and made her a lancer, keep her in the corner, and if anyone went after her, as soon as they were in range they were about to get flattened with Jump.
I was also able to make some use of the Bard in FFIII, but despite being able to buff the entire party at the same time, a White Mage is just flat out better.
I tried using the bard in FFV, didn't really notice any overall contribution.
Edwars really the only character in there the rest are jobs so i'll go with him.
A poll about which completely worthless character is my favorite. Well, I'd have to say the Songstress from Final Fantasy X-2, after all, she did sing 1000 Words, although I rarely use dancers or bards unless they force me to have them in my party.
My favorite Bard would be Edward Chris von Muir even though I had never used him that much. Mainly because even with his Ultimate Harp I never found him that good to use.
I liked the Songstress dressphere n.n
Most. Useless. Class. Ever. :eep:
I will spare myself the indignity of voting...
I did find them to be a little useless sometimes, but I thought it was cool to fight with dances and songs, so I used them anyway n.n
I had the most kick ass dancer in one playthrough of FFT. She was even stronger than Ramza. I don't know how I managed that.
She was a great Ninja, too, back then...
There wasn't a Dancer class in FFTA, was there?
edward!! the spoony bard :D
You forget mog!!!
FFX-2 Songstress simply because it's awesome hearing Paine muse about how much she hates it.
Edward from FF4 is just behind that.
