Well, not really all that much...
I know this may be a lame excuse for a topic, but I just caught all the Unown in Pokemon Diamond and I was wondering, wether the question and exclamation mark Unown are new or have they appeared before?

Sounds like they have been around since Generation III. I don't remember seeing the punctuation Unowns in Crystal.
RSE introduced them methinks.
Is there a reward for completing the Unowndex? I never saw the point before.
One of the 'benefits' of getting the unown is that you can get Seals for your pokeball. There's a boy in one of the cities who will give you a set of seals with the letter of the unown you have at the head of your party.
Seals, if you didn't know, allow you to customize your pokeball's opening animation. You can buy bubbles and feathers and fire and music notes and all other kinds of stuff, but the only way you can get letters to spell things is by getting the unown.
The ? and ! Unknows were introduced in FR/LG. There were very rare though. And each unknown lets you get different seals. Thats it.
Can I have them? I'll give you a Mew. Maybe.
A mew for all unknowns? Ha! But are you sure its a "legit" Mew?
There's a wild level 30 Mew in Emerald, and a wild level 7 one in RBY.
Mine's level 3. :P More EV training. xP
I have a legit mew:)
