FFVI, FFV, Ogre Battle 64, Chrono Trigger, Seiken Densetsu 3, Final Fantasy Legend 2.
If I realllly had to pick just one... Ogre Battle 64. Come to think of it, why have I never seen that amazing game mentioned on this board?
Final Fantasy IX.
I havnt played many non-FF SE games. But out of them, Id go for Dragon Quest VIII. But that comes after a few other FFs.
Final Fantasy Tactics, Einhänder, Legend of Mana and Super Mario RPG, obviously.
Lemme try and form a top 3 list...
1. Dragon Quest IV (simply love that game)
2. Seiken Densestu III (Hawk ftw)
3. Tie between Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VI (both have awesome characters and plots)

ok, a little extra snooping shows that the first OB game for the snes was published by enix among others. But 64 was just Atlus. Alright. My mistake.
