An awful one is Windows Update :p Seriously though, most manufacturers have ones on their website.
I know, but there are programs that check and download them for you. Updating display/sound drivers is just such a pain in the arse.
Why is it a pain in the arse? All you have to do is download the driver and install it. :p
You don't want to mess around with automatic updates anyway. It's a bad idea to let a machine decide that your working computer needs fixing. If you really must, then try PC Pitstop. It has a driver scan that can tell you if your drivers are out of dat.

Meh, I think MS really got me now. I seriously have doubts that I'll voluntarily switch to another OS. I'll be missing to many of my favourite programs.
