Have some of you created cute and incredible Gummi Ships? I don't have any ideas.
I build mine based on DPS and IAS. Okay, so it's just a main with cannons attached.
SquareEnix shouldn't have given me the O button. It's way better than manual maneuvering.
For awhile, after I unlocked all of the gummi pieces, I spent loads of time making some awesome original designs. This was in the original, though. I never really bothered with the gummi ship in Kingdom Hearts II even though it was a pretty superior minigame in that installment.
My original designs weren't cute, rather, they were just the most unstoppable creations I could possibly think of. I had two that I was particularly proud of, but I guess they'd be hard to explain. You'd really have to see them.
I tinkered a bit in the second, but mine always turned out horrible monstrosities. I tried to make them cute, though.
You can do it, Lunaberry! Make a cute one for me!
I'm playing the first installment. The Gummi Ship that I'm building right now looks like a Famicon controller; you can pilot it while Mashi shoots down Heartless with its cannons, Jeremy. =O
Creating a ship that has an original design seems tedious.
I actually managed to build the "ultimate gummi ship" according the official strategy guide of KH1.
KH2 Gummi's were much more improved, but I didn't bother with them, simply because once you complete a mission, you don't have to do it again.
I'm playing the first one right now,and i find the whole Gummi concept very confusing...and not that appealing to go through all the tutorials.
So i will stick with the basic design until the end of the game.:p
I might have skipped the tutorials before. I just watched them, and they're shorter than I remember. The Gummi Guide is just as helpful, though.
- When you're viewing the Gummi Garage, and it's in select mode (in which you can browse Gummi parts), press Select to bring up a screen that explains how to use the paint palette.
- When it's in build mode (in which you can move around the grid), press Select to bring up a screen that lists all the functions of your controller's buttons.
- Press R1 to toggle between select mode and build mode.
I think the controls are a little intimidating at first, but once you're familiar with them, the process of building Gummi Ships is easy breezy; and you can fly anything that has a cockpit and an engine. XP
I displayed every one of my original designs on this very forum.
I haven't really devoted all that much time to KH2's blueprints, but I received A COUPLE of comments for my KH designs. One of em said my Behemoth was just a pic of a Golem. Sure, that was the base, but I pimped that ride beyond what it was meant to be.
Oh, my! =O
A bee!
A Jedi starfighter!
A Millennium Falcon!
OOOO That Bee looks super cool and cute, like how it transform from Cute bee to Pimp Bee. Like Mario, with the mushrooms.
in ym KH 2 game, i have made a series of Powerfull Gummi ships, i called the the swanns
Swann
Swann (alpha)
Swann (beta)
each of the have there abilities
swann is a sluggish one, but a little more powerfull than Alpha
the stats are reversed in Alpha
and in Swann Beta, it the the equlibrium, it is perfect.
but i had a better one, it was based off of King mickey's keyblade. it was amazing, good enough the conquer the 3 previous.
i loved it....sadly, i didn't save my game after making it....i know, it sucks..
