That Square wouldn't remake any of the 3D FF's unless they put out a console with no backwards compatibility, and the new PS3 models don't have it. So does this mean we'll be seeing some remakes in the future? I hope it does, I would love to see some of those games remastered in HD and maybe even voice overs!
Well i agree with square that as long as there's backwards compability it's not an issue, b/c in my opinion, they really don't need it. The only problem I really have with them is difficulty but the player can easily fix that by utilizing the run option in the beginning in VII and IX, or the countless challenges ont he net for the others.
I really hope Sony puts it back with newer models though because I'd really like to check out that graphics in 1080p patch they made for ps and ps2 games.
