Disappearing Folder?

I used to have this folder named 'download' on My Documents where it receives everything from my AIM to Limewire downloads. Now today i cannot find that folder, as if it disappeared even if i used Search. However if i try to make another folder named the same, it wont let me because they say that its already there...and files are continually being downloaded there as if its there.

Wtf is going on?

Perhaps the folder is hidden.

Open your Documents folder. Click on the Tools menu, then on Folder Options.

Click on the View tab. Under "Hidden files and folders" select "Show hidden files and folders". Then click OK.

Thanks alot, however i dont know why this happened..-_- Can anyone tell me why it would do that on its own?

Might have been an update to AIM.

Thats impossible to me...i never update AIM @w@....

You can easily fix it though :p Right-click the folder, Properties, untick Hidden, then OK :p

Then you can undo the show hidden files from earlier, unless you like being able to see them like some of us :p
