Just beat the game!

Well I just finished the GBA version, and it feels pretty good. I didn't have the fancy weapons like Ragnorak, Ultima, etc, but my strat was fairly sound, and I had a super easy time. Basically, I leveled every single character up to between 70 and 75, and I made each character a caster, no melee attacks from anybody. I made sure each character knew Ultima, and just spammed the hell of out that spell, and only that spell (as far as attacking went) I of course threw in a Curaja when needed. That's it really, seems cheap, I know, but hey, whatever works.

Not bad, Most people just spam special attacks like tools and blitz and use the more powerful spells like ultima.

I have to say though, the ending kind of let me down, I guess I was expecting something epic. My favorite FF ending is still from Final Fantasy 10.

What!? I found this one to be the best ending ive seen thus far, i mean it goes for over 20 minutes, and everything wraps up nicely and theyre flying over the world and watching it repair itself and everyone gets their own little ending scene. I thought it was great!

I think the ending was fairly good. Wasn't terribly fantastic, but I thought it was generally a nice ending that brought things to a decent and enjoyable close.

I always enjoyed the ending, i like long endings in games and it was good for its time.

Did you save Shadow from the Floating Continent?
