I'd just like to say that I downloaded it, but I'm not sure that I'll play it since I have a headache from looking at screenshots. I'll need a coach!
The game itself works as a coach, and you're not at all punished for failed fortresses. You just learn as you go and take the failures as individual successes, adding to the history and lore of your personal world.
