it's like magick instead of magic... it's fun...
Considering FFXII is the earliest in the Ivalice timeline, I believe manufacted nethicite later became the Zodiac stones.

FF has a tendancy to make up new words from existing ones. In fact lots of fantasy does it... Probably.

i cannot stand it when they mispronounce marquis. i think them saying manufacted and magiks is a little neat though :-)
Manufacted is not a word. Does it really say that in the script or does it simply sound like manufacted instead of manufactured?
I looked at my accessory and it says without a doubt 'manufacted nethicite'. The game also spells magic as 'magick' (which is technically acceptable) and technique as 'technick' (which annoys the hell out of me).Quote:

It must be part of the localization style, then. I think that Magick, Technicks, and other naming conventions were only added to make them seem more than they were. Magic and Technique look a lot less interesting than Magick and Technick.Quote:
