Pretty much, but Iosys also fits in Jrock, so, yeah.

J-Pop: It's a toss up between Country Musume, Utada, and Aya Matsuura. I guess if I had to pick one, it would be Aya!

Also, Mai Yamane, who does the vocals for a handful of Yoko Kanno's Cowboy Bebop songs, has an absolutely amazing voice. I'm periodically bummed when I can find absolutely zero other material by her on the net, despite having read she's put out quite a few different albums.

I don't listen to J-Pop intentionally, and as for J-Rock I'm gonna say X-Japan because I'm more familiar with their stuff, but Galneryus is pretty smurfing neat too.
