whats with all the cids in the final fantasys.
they have something in common ......they all have somekind of airship.

It's just one of those recurring things like Ifrit, Shiva, Omega Weapon, etc.

And they dont ALL have airships

i only know three cids,
cid in ff 7 i know he has a airship forgot what it was called.
cid in ffx he also has an airship dont know the name either.
cid in ff8 where he has balamb garden where it hovers its kinda close to an airship.

VI doesn't.

That Cid is just a plain old researcher.

so is the cid in chocobo racing. he has NO air craft or air ship what-so-ever

Neither does Final Fantasy Tactics' Cid. He is just the most powerful character in the game, [sarcasm] but that isn't the big deal. [/sarcasm]

EDIT: And neither does Final Fantasy Tactics Advance's Cid. He just has a Chocobo.

Kay, I see the point. Now, which ones did? I know IV, V, VII and IX had (that's the games I played and in FF VII's case, watched AC).

ff2's cid very notably had an airship 8) ffx's had an airship, ff8's had garden, which was kinda like an airship at a point in the game xD

Uh... And was there a Cid in FF I and III?

Not in 1.

III yeah, he owned an airship.

But in recent remakes and retranslations of FF I, they say a man named Cid invented the airship, I believe. But this was not in the original NES game, I think.

Yes he is, he just sucks.

Hence why he hasn't made a ship yet.
