USA shoots down satellite, Final Fantasy II Forum shocked!

If you could make up any reason to shoot down an orbiting satellite what would it be and how would you respond when Blowfeld expects you to talk?

I'd say it was target practice for the US. That'd be lol. I'm sure they wouldn't over-react to the joke.

I'd tell everyone that it was an act done on behalf of the terrorist organization I work for, and for freedom I shall reveal that the organization is actually the country of France.

Well sirs, madams, I have to regretfully inform you that whilst theres a lot of crap flying around in space, that satellite was responsible for the broadcast of all the crap thats shown on TV these days, therefore it was an act of kindness for the good of humanity. It needed to be done.

As for mister blowfield? I'd react with: Blowfield? wow you blow yourself in a field? that's sick man you need help.

I actually once shot down a satellite. Well, I say shot. I actually was chucking a stick in the air for a laugh and one particularly high throw launched one into the stratosphere and knocked it out of orbit. Some government rang me up to complain but I told them to stop wingeing.

did that really happen? I thought all the references I'd seen to it (userfriendly, electrical engineering professors) were just coincidences :O

Actually, people are saying that they hit the wrong satellite.

I mean, since when have America actually hit something they were aiming for? (Without the use of an atomic bomb)

Even then they missed one.

There i was minding my own business just firing missiles in the air and this satellite just comes out of nowhere and starts attacking my missile!
