I didn't go to YouTube or LiveJournal that day, so I didn't get to see it. What happened?
Oh, and I don't use URL shorteners unless I really have to.
They Rick Roll'd us all.
Lol way to French, Frenchie. :P
Um... I dunno, I generally hate practical jokes or All Fool's Day in general, so using the internet to massively multiplayer online ridicule people is...meh. While I don't condone these activities,
I don't think any less of others for indulging...we are only human, after all.
Hey us big internet corporations are totally down with what's cool on the internet right now look we're "rick rolling" you ha ha ha! Twats.
Tinyurl.
I don't really get pranked. In regards to getting sent YouTub links, I tend to get "hey Tom, look at this Star Trek clip" that my now-Trek obsessed friend sends me. By and large I'll also be careful about clicking links that certain people send me from 4chan. Some people I know will send me funny stuff (I don't browse 4chan myself) and I'll click their links, but if someone's sent me something disgusting in the past, I'll be more apprehensive in future.
I don't think I've ever used a URL shortening service, actually.
YouTube using that prank was somewhat effective. Livejournal just made everyone bitter because of their recent banning of new basic (free, without advertising) accounts.
what?
Tinyurl
I think it's a pretty dumb prank :p Don't really see the point in it.
I didn't get on livejournal that day D:
I thought the Youtube prank was pretty amusing, though n.n
I hate chans.
The YouTube one amused me.
