Do you mean what ones have sequels? etc
The older ones, especially, IX, have numerous references to their predecessors, but the only direct sequels are FFX-2, and perhaps FFXII - Revenent Wings.
FFX and FFX2
FFTA and FFXII are in Ivalice...
so FFTA, FFTA2, FFXII, FFXII: RW
then the FF VII series
and now we have the XIII thing coming
THE JACKEL
Final Fantasy Tactics is also part of the Ivalice alliance.
FFTA wasn't in the "real" Ivalice, though, as evidenced by the fact that it didn't really exist. :P The whole world was based on a Final Fantasy game. Probably XII. xD
It's kind of amusing how that works out since TA came out before XII. But then again XII was in development for ages, so I wouldn't put it past SE to do something like that.
As for FF's that are connected, well none are in main numbered series. However VII, X, XII, and XIII all have games as either sequels or side stories set in the same worlds/with the same characters. Beyond that the rest only feature references.
And FFIV has FFIV:The After, which I still refuse to acknowledge the existence.
Cloud or his weapons make numerous cameos in FFT (as a playable character), FFVIII (Ultima Weapon's sword), and FFIX (the weapon shop sword).
I doubt that this was part of a deliberate attempt to integrate these worlds. Even in FFT, the device that brings Cloud over moves objects through space, not time.
There's a weak attempt to connect the storyline of FFX-2 with FFVII with a single character name and a brief conversation, but it's dubious at best.
The Ivalice games create a series of connected storylines set in a single world. Although the Suikoden series is the best non-FF example of this.
I kinda wanna see these new character designs.
EDIT: *peeks at official site*
17 years? Really? That long?
Lets not forget the OVA of FFV.
There's been a hint of a connection between FFX-2 and FFVII, but they had no intention of making a sequel when FFX was being developed :p
