So, did you have a newbie thread?

I didn't. Rather, I just pestered people on the FFXI board with endless questions like "How I mine for fish?" and "How I fish for ore?", etc. What about you?

Yep, I had a newbie thread. It got under ten replies:D

I posted one that was just like, "Hey you guys i'm new." One guy chewed me out for posting something so "pointless". Everyone else was pretty nice.

I didn't make one because I didn't want to be considered a newbie. Instead nobody knew who I was. :(

I prefer to make my actions how I'm known in new communities.

Nope. I just started posting in the FFIX forum. I don't think I even came into GC for the first couple of weeks.

I made a newbie thread and then Jowy charged in and scared the hell outta me. It was quite scary. It was only when i got into chat that i really got to know people.
