When someone says "jus' 'cause" kinda fast, does it grab your attention?

It drives me crazy! It happened three times today, and I was like, "whaat?"

I always hear my name, even though I can't think of many things I could confuse it for. :(

Any time I hear acy I think of my name Kaycee. :eek: Like tacy, lacy, macy, ect. ect.

One of my roommates has a girlfriend named Westney.

This causes problems.

Since my name is just the male name "Shaun" with an "ah" sound at the end, if anyone around me says "Shaun", it gets my attention, since it's almost my name. :p
