The 90's sucked because I had to miss a month of it. (I was born on February 9, 1990.)
Oh, and boy bands and stupid TV shows. The cartoons were much better back then, though.
MUSIC SUCKED..... and fashion was a disaster! appart from that I have tons of good childhood memories :D
Boy bands
Shell suits
Bad TV
Those insta-braid things that never ever worked but everyone still thought were SO KEWL
The 90's didn't suck, because I was born back then.
The Spice Girls belong in the other thread because they were cool so shut up I don't want to hear it hmph.
All of those crappy britpop "bands."
Maybe it's because I was young at the time, but I can't think of many reasons why the '90s sucked. They seemed pretty awesome the whole way through, especially compared to what's happened since 2000.
We should have Eyes on Final Fantasy Watches: VH1's I Love the '90s.
We could also watch Part Deux.
I have a few reasons:
La Macarena
Taco Bell Dog
Baby Got Back
Well, I wasn't born in the 90's, thats something that the 80's have on the 90's I guess.
The beginning of chavs, or charv/charva if you're from the North East of England. :jess:
The spice girls kicked ass the first time around :D
edit: + baby got back is a masterpiece
Two words:
Britney. Spears.
I'm sorry, you seem to have "Labour gaining power" in the wrong thread. In the 90s, Labour were MUCH preferable to the Conservatives. Perhaps not so much afterwards, but in those three years things were rosy :p
