Lets say our raincoat wearing Genetic Engineer had a different name, and you had to pick a different character to be bestowed the honour of the name "Cid"

Who would it be?

In my first playthrough before I knew his name I suspected that Arvis would actually be Cid.

Then I found Cid. ^^

Maybe that old guy who you have to talk to when you want to go underground with the castle?...If he played a more important roll, maybe. >.> Its late at night, I can't think of anyone else :S
