If that girl turns into a huge geek with no friends and no social life because she spends all her time on her games then it's your fault.
I teach my nephew to draw, he's only two so I have a long ways to go.
I once talked a 12-year-old out of buying World of Warcraft at Target. I felt like a philanthropist.
I taught my nephew how to "cheat" at his maths homework by doing his multiplication and long addition in the shortest possible way. He's like 4/5 so he's really good at maths now in his class. I also made my 3 older nephews love computer games. And my Niece likes Halo 3....oh yes indeed I am good to the youth of today!
I am in the process of converting a child to Final Fantasism. I don't know if this will ruin their life or not, but oh well.
Hitting them.
Hard.
I've worked as a teacher. I'm not really sure whether or not the kids benefited from it, though?
What the heck! - it was a lot of fun working with kids and if it didn't benefit them in any kind of way, I sure benefited from it. It was a good learning experience.
I have ignored them
I haven't eaten a child in a while.
I told them to shut up or get the hell out of the house. Yeah I am very hostile...
I got some of my little brother's friends to smoke. One of them thinks he's addicted and can't quit.
I asked them nicely to get off my lawn...
and by that I mean I told them to stop stealing my rhubarb and get off my property before I call the cops.
I returned a little girls Harry Potter book to her.
