Conde Petie, Zidane and Dagger feign marriage to pass through the village towards the Sanctuary, after which you're given a choice.
I personally don't bother marrying Quina and Vivi (one additional cutscene I can't be bothered to watch :P), I just let them sneak through because that's so much cooler anyway.
Which do you usually do if you're the kind of person who plays through the game several times?
I've had them marry all but one of my playthroughs. I like the cutscene and usually the Quina ones are quite funny. I guess I'm just a romantic at heart!
I don't think I've ever let them sneak through! Maybe I'll do it the next time around, just to see that (if there's anything additional to watch).
Ive done the first option 38 times and the second option 27 times, if my memory serves me correctly.
I've always had them get married in every playthrough.
I'm just glad that IX takes place in a world that would let a Vivi marry a Quina. :)
I'm not there yet on my second playthrough, but I remember them getting married on my first :p

Doesn't Quina and Vivi (SPOILER)have kids in the end? I remember someone having kids with Vivi
Vivi has (SPOILER)kids at the end, but there's nothing to imply just who he had them with.
I always have them marry. I just love the cut scene that you get for it :D
Usually I don't have them marry, but my mom does all the time. She thinks it's cute; I think it's a waste of time.
I always have them marry apart from my very first playthrough, i just prefer it.
