Secret of Mana DS

[Apparently I didn't notice that the previous version of this thread was over six months old . . . eek]

So . . . with Chrono Trigger getting a DS multiplayer adaption . . . how long do you think it will be before we see a SoM adaption? The SNES game multi-play experience still hasn't been bettered by anyone (including its own sequels) . . .

Also, consider that SoM was originally designed for the CD-ROM add on that was canceled . . . which famously caused the SoM staff to cut out something like 30% of the originally planned content. It would amazing to have this re-added back to the game.

And while they're at it, they should resurect the Japan-only sequel to Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3) . . . Please! :)

I would love to see a remake of this game with it's deleted content restored. Yes, it would be nice to see games like Seiken Densetsu 3 redone and released to the English speaking audience, but we've all played fan translations now so we know about it. To be able to play 30-40% previously unreleased/unknown content? That's would be awesome and what a remake should be all about.

It needs Wi-Fi support too for multiplayer, that would just be the bee's knees.

Go illegally emulate Secret of Mana and play through at least half of it. It's okay to tell Jekh to go smurf himself because you're sick of climbing his hellish mountain of bees and sleepy flowers.

My friend and I still play SoM about every other year on the cartridge that he's had since it first came out all those years ago. Yes. I'm THAT old. I still have the same copy of Final Fantasy "II" (hehe, IV) that I've been playing since it first came out, too.

I'd love to see SoM updated with a 3D graphical style more akin to FF:CC. Or at least not as bland as Children of Mana. Yuck.

I would love to see SoM and SD3 remade for the DS. Especially SD3.:D
