Quite possibly the worst idea ever. That seems harsh, but Disney is Disney. Let it be. If you want to shift the focus to a darker tone (something I'm okay with), I think that would involve increasing the number of original worlds in comparison to Disney ones and placing a greater emphasis on original characters as opposed to the Disney ones (which is what KH2 began to do and why I think you're perceiving it as "darker").
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't necessarily mean by making the Disney characters darker, I should have said they should expand on the background on these characters. I know that Donald has a wife too, he probably doesn't have a kid because he regrets marrying Daisy in the first because she be bugging him too much and if he has a kid by her, he couldn't get himself out of the situation.
happen to the disney characters, like with Goofy for example. Doesn't Goofy have a son and also I believe Disney never explained what happened to Max's mother? He was never introduced in the series, but I think it would be great if they went in deep into Goofy's mind and made him go into a flashback on his wife's death and he had to raise Max on his own. They could also go into great detail in why Mickey and Donald don't have children yet while Goofy does.
