Okay I know that in ff9 when you reach 99.59 time it rolls back to 0.00 but with a new color. My question is can you get excalibur 2 with this? Also some say its at the lifa tree. Do you not get it in memoria?

Excalibur 2 is definitely found in Memoria.
As for the timer to reset, supposedly it's possible after over two years of total playtime: http://forums.eyesonff.com/final-fan...r-2-cheat.html
lol i remember making that thread, I was so determined to see if i could get it to roll over through all the colours, i actually still have a save with a long time played:p
Anyway it is possible, itl just take a long long time, see the link above:)
Use an emulator and turn off the framerate limiter. On a decent system, that should get you a 500+ frames per second, thus increasing the time flow in the game tenfold.
Oh my god I didn't know it would take that long. I just thought after 100 hours it resets. F that. I got the ragnarok and excalibur but I was still trying to get the only item I missed. Although just for its str. cause I got all abilities learned for everybody. I got like 88 hours in. With nothing to do.
Yeah, it's possible after an uber-long time but it's really not feasible without sped-up emulation -- unless you want to degrade your console by keeping it on for those protracted time periods.
Maybe you could overclock your PS1 to make it run the game faster.
You should simply modify the game with a device or use an emulator to get the Excalibur II. The requirements for this weapon are far too merciless for a casual player.
