I find it funny that people say that he has actually did something to affect us gamers. He didn't change my life whatsoever.

Why did this guy get so much attention in the first place?

Because of his outrageous and baseless antics and accusation about the video game industry. He didn't really do anything at all to effect it. He was just one small person in a movement that this will have no effect on.

Oh yes, the Great Satan has been defeated! Free at last, free at last, thank god almighty, free at last! Now I can finally walk in public, proud to be a gamer, without fear of prejudice or hatred!
