Something I really like is etymology. The birth and development of language is fascinating. Onomatopoeia has to be one of the best, and I rather like chronological. I'm rather fond of pontificate as well.
I like many words, so I made a list of words.
This list is two words long, it is a very fastidious list;
Monotonous and Ochlocracy
They are awesome, because they are pronounced differently to how you would first expect.
I need more for my list...
Gosh darn it, Nick. Double posting? I like words also, though I have no examples. Strange words interest me. :D
BAM!
Onomatopoeia has made my list ;)
Mot, the French word for word, is also nice.
Tabernacle.
Syzygy. It was in a spelling comp or something in primary school. Quite a weird word
I too love the word chronological.
Tintinnabulation and vituperation.
Pensive
Pulchritudinous
Pasture
Palometa
At the minute? Magnitude.
Pulchritudinous.
Palpate.
Subjacent.
Hierophant.
And for a series of words:
The sound of her wings.
