FTP

Hey, I'm trying to generate link using an FTP. I've never used one. The client I'm using is Filezilla. I've got my files uploaded, but how do I give links to the files I've uploaded?

Usually ftp links are of the form ftp://username:password@url.example.com/folder/subfolder/file.txt :p You can leave out :password if there's none, and the whole username:password@ bit if anonymous logins are allowed :p

So that totally didn't work.

If you've uploaded a file to a web server (in your root folder), you should be able to link to it simply using:
http://www.[domainname.com]/filename
