PSP on the TV

Just a few hours ago I was all excited when I stumbled upon a thingy that let me play PSP on the TV and was thinking that I could play Star Ocean on a bigger screen. So I got up there and turns out I need HDTV with Progressive Scan. So does anyone know if there's like a way around it or well anyway to play it on the TV with out those HD or Progressive Scan?

Nah, only HDTV with progressive scan I'm afraid. I have that, but its not really that great. Personally I prefer lying on my bed playing my PSP over playing it on a big screen. After all, if I'm at the tv I might as well play my PS3.

There is a thingie but as far as I know it sells only in Japan or to game developer companies :S. It is what they use on E3 or other shows
