Landscapes, you know!
Yes! Landscapes! Release your inner Bob Ross and post your landscape pieces and landscape comments here.
I'll start. I was kinda saving the first one for the art competition, but since I got knocked out I'll just post it here. I hope you're all wearing your eye for detail for this one! Done on A3 paper with pencil.
The second one was a little less time-consuming. Done on A4 paper with fineliner.
Enjoy!

Incredible stuff :D I'd love to see you do a really really big one!
-
you should do one of a ghost town.
i think that would be great
-
>>> Yeah, those are great drawings..
-
wow i really love the left picture the building on the hill looks really cool...love the architecture!
-
-
The first one looks a bit off perspective, but I like them a lot. I've never had any knack for landscapes so far and I admore those who are able to do them.
-
>>> yeah, you need lots of patience to draw landscapes and you also have to deal with pesrpective.. Its a pain really.
the closest thing to a landscape I have done is that banner image in the top of the page.
-
I like the technical aspects of the second one, but I love the whimsy of the first one :D
-
Thanks guys! I think I'll have one more next week.
-
They look good. You might want to pencil in some vanishing points though, so all the perspective matches up.
-
Those sketches are great and your style reminds me of another artist, though I can't remember his name right now. I think the left one would look great colored.
-
WOW I really like these! nice job! You don't see many people doing landscapes these days >_>
I also love to draw fantasy landscapes like these, cant wait to see more! :D
Can you draw sci-fi like landscapes?

Those are great Pete, the contrast and style is excellent.
