(Previously: ) Pounds 45 from family. Friends all got chocolate apart from one who got me a mug with hot chocolate and some sort of novelty creature and another who made me a bracelet and earrings. She's really very good, I do actually wear her jewellry.

The very Laptop I'm posting from now! 'Tis a beautiful thing, a fine piece of machinery. I also got various bits and bobs including clothes, computer peripherals, and some games for my poor Wii that hasn't been receiving enough attention recently.
Quality family time and the great food is another little bonus for me! These next three or four days will be awesome, except for when we have to play the annual monopoly games. :mog:

- CDs. Like, loads.
- A watch, nice enough that I might actually start wearing a watch for the first time in my life.
- A boat trip on the Thames.
- This season's Arsenal shirt, that I am probably not going to wear in public for a while.
- A bunch of "real" clothes, including a shirt that has broken a button already, and another shirt that could only be convincingly worn by a turkish pop star.
- A Steiff Giraffe named Margaret.
- New Headphones.
- A New Yorker Calendar.
- Chocolate Money!
All in all, a successful haul. But I would trade it all for my Dad's 120 page hardback Roy of the Rovers Compendium. Envy is a terrible thing. :(

a vinyl + cd player which can convert the music from the vinyl or cd straight to mp3. a huuuuuge three and a half hour collection of leadbelly. toots & the maytals compilation. the best of the specials dvd&cd. under the fog by the king blues on vinyl. a willy mason single. some really nice copies of animal farm (orwell), to have and to have not (hemingway), a collection of angela carter and a collection of mark twain. a new dunlop bag. fcuk box set thingggg. er. a nicee adidas parka and fred perry scarf. er.
oh.
and a little buddha stattuete that grows when you put it in water. ahh.
then from friends i got:
The American Folk-Blues Festival, The British Tours 1963-1966 on dvd (Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, etc. hurrah!), ralph steadman poster (an illustration from fear & loathing in las vegas), 'kerouac, his life and work' by paul maher, a rage against the machine biography, a new poloo, some bukowski, a beautiful notebook, and an adorable little giraffe teddy.

I bought Jeremy and I matching Hello Kitty webcams, because our old webcams don't work well anymore. Also, I spent some of my $100 on fabric (including cute strawberry fleece), and tomorrow or sometime soon I plan to buy more fabric.
Tiki and Tobi - each - got about five toys and one doggie candy cane!
