Judging from the trailer I've watched, the gameplay is a little different than with other Shining Force titles. But I think it's the next best thing. It looks like confrontations are interactive now. I hope Sega doesn't screw this, I would like it to become a good game.
Sega have already botched the Shining Force franchise so hopefully this can be the reboot it needs. I find it a little too typical that it had to be on the DS but that doesn't mean it'll be bad. I think Sega's WOW division (who made Valkyria Chronicles) should be allowed to make the game. They already made the best SRPG in years and rebooting Shining Force seems like an appropreate encore.
