That happend to me the first time i played FFx-2 i think its cause its to easy to not level up in that game most FF titles you can get to a resonable level by just playing the story but in this one you have to train a lot more
Not really, I've never encountered grind in FFX-2 until Via-Infinito (Even then I haven't ... Just fight on the way down).
I'd either get a good Stat-Rising Garment Grid and go through gates, or well... level, it seems you haven't done much more than level the Special Garments.
That said, you could complete mastery and spam the biiiIIiig skills like Great Whirl and etc.
You need a method to recover your HP quickly. Try leveling the White Mage job for one of the characters and you will learn Protect, Shell, and the Cure spells to cure your party quickly without having to die. Protect and Shell halve the damage of physical attacks and magical attacks, respectively, and this could save you a lot of trouble.
i found it really hard to defeat them but then i actually listened to the book and stayed in Dark knight just keep using darkness or what ever its called haven't played it ages, but have one of them complete the white mage spells and apply that person with the salvation promise grid system so they can use those spells what ever the dress sphere so u can heal yourself when ever. and one more thing use haste, shell and protect it helps alot.
