My hair is really thick, so it takes some TLC to manage. Right now, it has both hair gel and hair wax just to hold it in place. Luckily, it's not going anywhere. :riiight:
What do you typically put in your hair? Mousse, hairspray, gel, etc? :p

I like to go sans hair product when I can, but if I have to a little bit of gel combed through makes my hair easy enough to style.
Nothing at all. My hair is long and thick and falls like a curtain down my back.
I put a brush through mine.
Water.
I never do any of that to my hair. I couldn't fix my hair even if I tried. I suck at all that crap. I comb it and call it a life.
I choose not to poison this sweet hair I got.
Don't be afraid of product. The right products are your friend. If you overuse, your hair is greasy and sticky, but if you use just the right amount, it enhances the beauty and natural texture hair has.
First off, I like to use Chi 44 Iron Guard before I blow dry, straighten, or curl my hair so that it protects my hair from heat damage.
I like to use Herbal Essence Leave-In Frizz Creme to give my hair a bit of volume, shine and to get rid of the fly aways. It smells like if every nice smell in the world had a baby. It's amazing.
I like to use wax or pomade for a bit of styling, texturing and a bit of volume. I don't remember what brand I use. It comes in a medium sized jar and is kind of expensive, but one can could probably last years, because you only dip your three finger tips into the can, rub through your hands, until it's sticky and pliable for your hair.
I like Garnier Fructisse Shine to give my hair extra shine. This is the one product I have to be a little careful with, because if I use too much, it gets my hair a little greasy. But a drop of it, rubbed through my hands and through my hair, does the job perfectly.
When I curl my hair, I use Tresemme curl-lift spray.
I can't really think of anything else besides the above and the standard stuff like hairspray.
Point the first: I hate, absolutely hate the use of the generic term "product" in reference to hair care and hair styling junk.
Point the second: The only things I use in my hair are hot water, shampoo, and my hands.
Dye.
If I want to style it, mousse or a heat protecting cream that's by l'oreal. I got it from sally's. I get everything from sally's beauty supply though, so.
Usually just shampoo conditioner and then air dry and brush will take care of my hair for me.
Nothing aside from the usual shampoo treatment. Adding stuff makes it more stiff and less silky and wonderful than it is without.
I lied. I use leave in conditioner, it's a spray.
