I know this thread is old but it’s jus.t..just so full of bias and ignorance, I have to say something. How in the world can something so wrong exist on this forum?

Needless to say both “summaries” are nothing more than pitiful generalizations meant to demean and not really summarize anything. In fact, both so misrepresent the plots of the games, they’re little more than bold-faced lies.
But luckily, it continues on.
I have a decent, I’d say good most of the time, memory and X-2's plot is easy enough to recall. That’s why this posts utterly baffled me. It makes no sense...at all. To anyone who’s played X-2, this is rubbish and I can only attempt to understand the thought process here.Quote:

Second, Yuna and Rikku did not know Tidus could come back from non-existence and it wasn’t non-existence. He was real as soon as he was brought to Spira. Hell, his “dream mother” was on the Farplane.
So your argument they don’t have to fear Vegnagun because they can conquer death is not supported by anything.
In fact, considering Vegnagun can destroy all of Spira, which includes the Farplane, Yuna and them have ample reason to be scared. It can kill them and remove any chance of an afterlife.
And what plan could this poster be talking about? Their plan was “we’ll beat it.” Much like AVALANCHE and Zidane’s crew, they just charged at where they knew the baddie was and planned to kick its ass.

It's not the game that rents itself out for prostitution. It is a symbol of what the maker did when they were making this game. They relied on their hardcore fans to give them a profit margin that would have been similar to a normal FF game. Then they used pop-culture and indulged the people that are not hard core about FF, but rather, the general public, whose wiles and wishes follow that of a smaller head than that which encases the brain.

True she was obligated against her better judgment for a few minor events but the more important parts of te game were completely her choice and had nothing to do with being a tool or a whore.

For one thing, Yuna has moved on from the past. She’s a totally different, and better, character. But she still loves Tidus...I guess you’d agree with Trema. You should totally foresake your past.
And like I said, moral of the game totally went over your head. It’s about life. The value of life. How life is precious and should not be squandered. Yuna’s very right when she speaks to Nooj. They rationalized and justified their taking of lives but it’s all empty words. There is ALWAYS a choice is the point of this game. A choice to live and continue on living and you should not throw that away.
Death is a stage of life. It has no higher value than any other part of our existence. And again you show your complete lack of understanding of this game. If death could be conquered, guess what? Yuna saw how foolish it was for Tidus to go. He gave his life to stop Sin...but a mere two years later, the “Eternal Calm” is shattered. I suspectshe understood then. There was no reason for Tidus to have died. Evil is forever and giving your life to stop a bit of it is ridiculous. Your first choice should always be to live. What was it Auron said:
“Now is the time to choose. Die and be free of pain or live and fight your sorrow.”
Easily suits this situation too. Die for a small cause or live for a higher one.
That’s what X-2's story meant to me anyway.
